4-Door French Door Refridgerator
Right at the beginning of when Covid started getting crazy, the freezer started icing up, and thawing and re-freezing every now and then. We called out a repair guy, who tried to order some kind of computer part, but it was on backorder at that time like everything else. It was actually on backorder for over two years, so we gave up, and just moved this refrigerator into our laundry room and used it as a spare fridge for drinks.
We would put our alcohol and stuff in the freezer since sometimes it would freeze and have the bottles frosty, and sometimes they were just cold like they were in the refrigerator.
That refrigerator is pretty big for a laundry room, and now that we’ve been using it only as a drink refridgerator, I wanted to get some smaller without any protruding handles on the front for the laundry room. (Since we apparently can’t live without a drink fridge now)
We didn’t hook up the water and icemaker once we moved it into our laundry room. But both of those things worked fine when it was hooked up in our kitchen. It’s just the new refrigerator that we bought had an icemaker and water thing as well, so no need to have both hooked up. All hoses and everything are still there for all of that.
Once the freezer stopped freezing, completely, the control panel actually started flashing two error codes. 40 E (the 40E error on Samsung 3-door refrigerators indicates a defrost sensor fault) - and 21 E (code indicates a freezer evaporator fan failure) which was what the repair guy was talking about that was the problem.
I’m sure the parts are back in stock by now since that was almost 6 years ago!
Or if you’re a fridge repair person, you may have everything you need already to fix it!

This fridge is huge! Almost 26 cubic feet!
We got a really good deal on a new small refrigerator that was just delivered. So we want this gone ASAP!
