I enjoy Buying and Selling
antiques and misc. items as a hobby not a business. Its the best way of selling accummulated items, items I purchased and didn't like after I got them home, items I thought my wife , Items that I couldn't live withouit, items I thought someone else couldn't live with ouit and the list goies o n and on.
I enjoy meeting the friendly people who actually show up and look at the items I have for sale, even if they don't buy anything. We have great conversations and I always make a new friend.
In general I enjoy this whole thing on KYS but I need to just get rid of all my "STUFF". I'm in a Wife Initiated and taught step program to enable me to walk away from a agreat or even good deal (my garage can't hold any more good or great deals.
I enjoy the opportunity this site has given me to meet new people and am really enjoying some great new friendships.
And lastly, I really appreciate all the people who have bought items from me and thanked me for the nice items they have purchased. It has helped me keep my marriage together. Thank You!
WHAT I DON'T ENJOY/LIKE:
1) Buyers who advise they want an item and you never hear from them again.
2)Buyers who advise they are coming to pick some thing up disrupting your plans and never show.
3) Buyers who make offers and never answer your response.
4) Buyers who make ridiculous offers period.
Someone recently told me you can't blame people for being so cheap and trying to get an item for little or nothing? Its not about the cheap offer that bugs me, its about the wording people use when making the offer. These cheap types are just plain rude and aren't worth the time and effort it takes to reply back to them.
I really think they just can't afford the item to begin with and this is their way of showing they're jealously for all the sellers who do well on this site.
And lastly, If your one of those people who fit the above mentioned profile and you think your getting to me or others who sell on this site your wrong. If making insincere offers and taking up someones time having them answer your emails is your thing, we feel sorry for you. You need a life. Personally I would like to say more about what you need but it wouldn't be professional and just make me like you, ignorant.
And remember what goes around comes around and when it happens to you I guess you don't get to complain about it do you?
ALSO AS A SIDE NOTE:
All sales are final. Every now and then I get a personwho wants to bring an item back. When you buy a item from an individual it is considered used, even if its new in the box, or an antique. Once you get it home and it dosen't match or is the wrong size etc. its to late. You bought it and its yours. Please check out all items, measure the item or areas where an item is going before you buy them. Open boxes before you leave etc., and make sure its what you want. Once you leave with an item it belongs to the buyer. Sorry but thats the way it is. After
