just got several items that go along with what is going on in my area right now - almost time for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo when the trailriders start coming into town on horseback and in their covered wagons from all over the country. Too cool!
This belt buckle is definitely ready for the Rodeo!! It measures 4" X 2". Top is brass, back is silver. Address of makers is on a label on the back and they are in New Mexico. A covered wagon is etched in white on the front. Lettering is red and it has "TEXAS' on the top front of the covered wagon. On the sides it says "WAGONEER'S Camping Squares". It also looks like it used to have a square dancing couple in white on the top of the wagon cover. Now all that is left is the lady and the top half of the guy.
Great conversation piece.
